Flint Hills League News

The Flint Hills League Board of Directors met on August 17, 2008 and March 8, 2009 to discuss and propose rule changes for the 2009 season. The 2009 rule book is availible here.

The board approved the return of the Osage City boys 12 and under baseball teams. They also approved the addition of the Appanoose boys in 12 and under divisions.

The board also approved the addition of 2 boys teams and a possible girls team from North Lyon County and extended an offer to Melvern to possibly add a couple of girls teams.

The board will be experimenting with a new scheduling procedure using a computer software program. The goal is to have a conflict free schedule produced by late April. Changes may still be made by towns for home games when deemed necesary. The league scheduling meeting is scheduled for 2:00 PM on Sunday April 19 in Burlingame at ACC.
